ETS seeks a full-time, experienced Data Analyst to assist in the implementation and development of data analysis components and systems for large research projects. In this role, you will also:
- Consult with data analysis supervisory staff on the application, modification and documentation of systems using established technologies
- Contribute to the implementation and support of new hardware/software/data analysis methodologies to support research system development
- Assist in the preparation of data analysis components of proposals and cost/resource estimates
- Implement components of technical documentation of data analysis systems, solutions and results
- Work effectively in a team setting and take an active role in contributing to team discussions and decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Two years of experience in a related data analysis field
- Strong programming background and knowledge of statistical software systems (such as SAS or SPSS) are essential
- Knowledge of a programming language (such as Fortran or C++) is desirable
- Expertise in graphics and spreadsheet software and experience in analyzing data using statistical/psychometric techniques would be assets
